Bristol Packet Boat Trips has kept maritime tradition alive on Bristol’s Floating Harbour since 1974 — a family business now carried on by a second generation of sailors.
Its public tours are a much-loved Bristol pleasure: the classic 45-minute City Dock Tour past SS Great Britain, Cabot Tower, Hotwells and Underfall Yard, alongside longer excursions such as the Pub Lunch Cruise to Hanham Mills and the Cream Tea Cruise along the rural Avon.
For private occasions the fleet is available for charter — birthdays, drinks receptions, conferences and community outings — each boat with a fully licensed bar, facilities and music, and every trip tailored to the day.
The distinctive fleet runs from the classic Tower Belle, Bagheera and Flower of Bristol to the modern Redshank, Greenshank and the hydrogen-powered Hydrogenesis — heritage and innovation side by side.
From Wapping Wharf on the harbourside, Bristol Packet offers the members of No.20 the city as it is best seen — from the water.
Bristol Packet Boat Trips is a member of No.20 — Bristol's private members' business club.
